About The Grid: Southwest
A working directory of real businesses across the desert Southwest — from Kingman body shops to Santa Fe framers.
Why this exists
Small desert towns get skipped. Search for a recycling center in Fort Mohave or an A/C crew in Palm Springs and you'll get national chains three hours away before you get the shop on the corner. The Grid: Southwest is built the other way around: towns first, then the businesses that actually have a door on a desert road.
How towns get covered
We started in our own backyard — Golden Valley, Kingman, Bullhead City and Fort Mohave, Arizona — and we're working outward across Arizona, Southern California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico and West Texas, town by town. Listings come from public business data and from owners who submit or claim their own listing.
Every listing carries the same core facts: address, phone, website, hours, rating and a map link that opens directions on your phone. Owners can correct anything that's wrong.
Who runs it
The Grid: Southwest is run by Greg Chernoff of Absolute Velocity Labs in Fort Mohave, Arizona — thirty years of marketing operations work, now pointed at the region we live in.
