Precision manufacturer Accu-Precision has selected Colorado Springs for a manufacturing expansion, state and local officials announced on October 6, 2026. The company, which produces custom sheet metal, parts, and assemblies for aerospace and industrial clients, plans to construct a 110,000-square-foot facility following contract awards from an aerospace prime contractor.

Total capital investment is projected to exceed $45 million across three phases, with overall project value estimated at up to $68.15 million. The project is expected to create up to 133 net new jobs, including roles for technicians, machine operators, engineers, and supervisors. The planned average annual salary is $73,032.74, representing roughly 107% of the average wage in El Paso County. Accu-Precision currently employs 70 people in Colorado and also evaluated Ohio before choosing Colorado Springs.

The Colorado Economic Development Commission approved up to $1,729,155 in performance-based Job Growth Incentive Tax Credits over an eight-year timeframe, contingent on the company meeting hiring and wage benchmarks. The project also qualifies for a 1.23% El Paso County sales and use tax exemption on capitalized manufacturing equipment.
