Pueblo Mall celebrates 50th anniversary with ceremonies and music festival

The Latino Chamber of Commerce and the Pueblo Mall are hosting a series of events to commemorate the shopping center's 50th anniversary at 3429 Dillon Drive.

The initial celebration on Wednesday, October 7, includes a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony held inside the mall near JCPenney, alongside the sealing of a commemorative time capsule. Activities associated with the milestone continue through the weekend, concluding with a community music festival scheduled from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 10.

The events mark five decades of operation for the retail hub, which serves as a major commercial center for Pueblo and surrounding southern Colorado communities.
