EquipmentShare to open new industrial facility in Las Cruces

EquipmentShare, a national construction equipment rental and jobsite technology company, plans to open a new Site Solutions managed services facility in Las Cruces. The operation will be located at 9030 Advancement Ave. in the Las Cruces Innovation & Industrial Park and is scheduled to begin operations in 2026.

The project follows more than two years of coordination between the company, the City of Las Cruces, commercial real estate firm NAI 1st Valley, and the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA). The planned facility will provide contractor services including mobile tool trailers, equipment tracking, on-site fueling, and fleet management technology via the company's T3 platform.

While a specific hiring count for the Las Cruces facility has not been finalized, standard EquipmentShare branches typically employ between 25 and 50 workers. The expansion is receiving support from the NMBorderplex Closing Fund, an incentive program administered through the New Mexico Economic Development Fund and the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico to support local capital investment and business recruitment.
