St. George Museum of Art Features Exhibitions by Ben Steele and Colleen Gianatiempo

The St. George Museum of Art is hosting two fine art exhibits highlighting regional and contemporary works through late December.

The museum's primary showcase, titled "45th State of Mind," is a solo exhibition by artist Ben Steele. The collection incorporates Utah cultural imagery rendered in the style of vintage commercial advertising and souvenir graphic design. The centerpiece work, an 8-foot-by-12-foot painting titled "Natural Numbers," anchors the installation, which is scheduled to remain on view through December 23, 2026.

In addition to the Steele exhibition, the museum is featuring "Material Poetics," a foyer exhibition by artist Colleen Gianatiempo. Both exhibits are open to the public Tuesday through Saturday with free admission at the museum's facility on 200 North in downtown St. George.
